So. Over on the Hill Cantons blog, Chris Kutalik has been doing some fiddling with the rules as part of his ConstantCon ZeFRS game. He's not a fan of point-buy systems, so he's come up with a random ZeFRS character generation method. I like it, especially the random backstory tables. "Sorceror's accomplice" is the tidiest combination of implied tone & story I've seen in a long time. Heartily recommended.

Thank you for this! Pretty neat stuff. I have to say I like the idea of having bonus talents due to nationality, while keeping them in balance. Really adds a 'flavor' I think. Although I might go through and make some minor adjustments here and there according to how I understand the Hyborian age and it's peoples. This is great stuff though!
