By popular demand - or at least by a couple of people's inquiry - ZeFRS is now available as a POD softcover from Lulu for price is $7.93 (the cost of printing) plus shipping. You can find it here: www.lulu.com/content/3994350. You can also get a coverless PDF of the book, which includes all the content from the main rules & the Companion, plus a couple of clarifications & executive decisions, here: www.midcoast.com/~ricekrwc/zefrs/zefrs_combined_rules.pdf. Be forewarned, even optimized that's a 1.3M file.

Just kinda curious...is this a dead horse now or...? I guess I was kinda late getting intot he ZeFRS thang, but myself & a coupla so people I play R.P.G's with are quite the fans of the old TSR Conan system & have only just recently got onto the ZeFRS ball as it was, I'm just wondering as: there was talk of a Legends of Steel version (I'm not that keen on BoL or SW, were oldskool man, who needs miniatures to play an RPG) as well as the posiobility as useing this as a base system to build into a universal R.P.G. system (lets face it, it's pulp RPG from WAY before SW reared it head into the world) that & in general, it suits my R.P.G. group to the ground, it's fast playing, dynamic & just a nice, quick & easy to run system (personaly, I think it was WAY ahead of it's time & just a shame that TSR never paid it more attention as systems go).

Hi Waylander
Legends of Steel ZeFRS Edition is in fact in the pipeline. We experienced a few technical difficulties, but the PDF should be on sale this year.
As far as using it as a base for a universal RPG, it's open to anybody to mess with as they like, so feel free to do what you want with it. Once upon a time I started writing up conversion notes for using ZeFRS to play Amazing Engine settings with; maybe I'll finish those up & post them this year too.
Glad to hear you're enjoying ZeFRS. I agree, Zeb was a real visionary with this one.

Errata
p41 (Obsession) "On a Heroic (red) result, the character gives in and will do whatever he must to gain the power." should be "On a Heroic (black) result, the character gives in and will do whatever he must to gain the power." (new/old colour confusion)

A few other colour mistakes are present ; like in the example for the Wrestling rules (Esmis scores a yellow result, nota a red one).
