I know the main project isn't finished, but I had this particular brainstorm yesterday & want some feedback on it. If it has merit, maybe I'll submit.
This currently is designed for the narrow Rating interpretation of the Chart, but could easily be adapted to the Broad interpretation.
Rating/Column 0 has 54% chance of success.
Each Rating Modifier/Column Shift is equal to +/- 3%. So if I were Rating 7, I'd have a 54+21=75% chance of success. If i were at Rating 7 had +2 Modifier, I'd have a 81% chance. Or if I were at Rating 1(57%) & had a -5(-15%) Modifier, I'd have a 42%.
The max chance of success is 96%, the minimum chance of success is 30%
If I succeed on my roll:
If the 1's die comes up a 1-6, I have a Green Result.
If the 1's die comes up a 7-8, I have a Yellow Result.
If the 1's die comes up an 9, I have an Orange Result.
If the 1's die comes up a 10, I have a Red result.
If the modified Rating is 11+, the Results or a successful roll change like this:
If I succeed on my roll:
If the 1's die comes up a 1-5, I have a Green Result.
If the 1's die comes up a 5-7, I have a Yellow Result.
If the 1's die comes up an 8-9, I have an Orange Result.
If the 1's die comes up a 10, I have a Red result.
If the modified Rating is -11 or less, the Results or a successful roll change like this:
If the 1's die comes up a 1-7, I have a Green Result.
If the 1's die comes up a 8, I have a Yellow Result.
If the 1's die comes up an 9, I have an Orange Result.
If the 1's die comes up a 10, I have a Red result.
Please, any feedback is useful, if it doesn't work, its ok. And I don't think the chart is prohibitively slow, I just had a brainstorm.
Thanks,
MC
