How are we handling monsters for ZeFRS?
Thats part of the game that was addressed in the Hyborian notebook...any thoughts on where we want to add it to the ZeFRS book?

Hello EvilDM, my original post on monsters has become a submission for the Red Scrolls... I think it is quite complete covering from animals to demons and encompassing undead of different kinds, dragons and werecreatures. Best regards artikid

So many of the monsters were extremely setting-specific - in fact story specific - that a bestiary might not quite be appropriate. What about a "humanary"? The stock opponents of S&S heroes are other people, so the core rules could include a central casting for various types: pirate, brigand, tribesman, soldier, assassin, sailor, & so on.
Artikid's bestiary is a really nice start. What about adding a monster resource base - a one-from-column-A, one-from-column-B type of list of attributes (claws, wings, slime) & abilities (flight, mesmerising gaze) that refs can use to kitbash a climactic monster for a scenario?

Hi folks! I was the one who sent a PM to The Evil DM about a beastiary for Zefrs. In my opinion you should include at least some basic info on constructing enemies and foes in the basic game documents because as it is now it would be difficult for people without the original game (myself included) to actually play Zefrs with only what is available online. For example, I am trying to retool an adventure that I wrote for the D20 Conan RPG for submission to the Scrolls of the Red Brotherhood, but I am not sure what challenges should look like.
Just my 2 cents, but the addition of an online beastiary is something that would really make the game better for those players who are coming into Zefrs as newbies.
