No responses to the PDF, no responses to the call for artwork, no responses to the call for Scrolls submissions...d**n. Please don't let this project die. It deserves better.

The revised 1st draft PDF looks nice. Was the guy on the cover supposed to be wielding the sword in the logo or is it just coincidence that's where his hand ended up?
I'll post a link to the PDF on the ZeFRS site. That'll make it easy for people to get the whole kit at one go.

Just a coincidence. That's a painting from the 1600's (iirc) of St. George killing the Dragon. It seemed appropriate.
Do you happen to have a version of the logo with a clear background? it came out a bit icky when I tried to make the tan backing transparent.

Just e-mailed you a GIF of the logo with a transparent background.

I've been gone for a bit due to personal issues. I'm back now and I'll do my best to caught up and make some constructive comments.

You got me greyelf, I apologize. Your efforts are really appreciated. I know how you feel I've been on the creating end of a couple of projects and waiting for feedback is a drag.
I've been remiss in several areas and this board is one of them. I will get my head outta my rear and try and keep up.
Having a PDF in hand really helps.
I have some artwork that I bought from RPGnow. my question is can we use it on the project? I purchased it for use on my own game I'm working on, but I would be willing to share the images for ZeFRS. I think if we follow the credit protocol we should be alright no?
My submission to the scrolls is only about 10% done. my bad, I apologize. I will get on it.

The art would be iffy. Since we're doing this as a copyleft project, I'd rather have art that we definitely don't have to worry about rights with...that is to say, 100% donated or public domain.
I found a couple layout issues I need to address, and there's a rules issue we need to deal with, which I'll post in another thread.
Also, even more than feedback I was concerned that people had let their interest in this die. I think the game really deserves the kind of passion we've all put into it, and I'd love to see it catch on.

thegreyelf: Great work on the PDF! As one of those who just recently was introduced to Zefrs, I am really excited to see it moving forward like this.
As for art, I am not in any form an artist. I have, however, done some searching for public domain art that may be suitable. Would you like me to send it to you? If so, just PM me and we'll make arrangements. Just let me know what I can do to help out.

I'd like to try my hand at the art, but I have little skill in actually inking the pieces I would end up doing. And then there's the subject matter. What would be good, action shots, pin ups?
Scaling won't be a problem as I can adjust Photoshop 5.5 to do what I want.

Check out the Rogues Gallery forum, where I posted a call for art awhile ago. There's instructions there for what I need and where to send it (and action shots are always better).

Hey all-
New to this forum, but I followed the thread over on RPGnet for awhile.
I fell in love with the original Conan TSR game once it was explained to me. I gotta tell you- don't ever feel your efforts are unappreciated! This is a phenomenal job ya'll have done!

Jason--I'm still here, or, more accurately, back after some health things and a a vacation. The 1st pass at the pdf looks good to me. I'm working on some house-rules that I'll post here soon and then I may try and start a PbP at rpg.net to give them a shake-down.

Sorry gang. I was unable to persuade any of my current group to give ZeFRS a try ("Play This." "No." "Uh, please?" "NO.") so I haven't had any "actual play" to contribute. However, I'm hoping to have a session at one of the local mini-conventions soon.
