Hi all
Just come across these rules, I think they are brilliant.
After reading the combat section, I was thinking that a non brawling (I.e. other) attack causing unconsciousness in the gut and chest was a bit weak.
I realise that unconscious is as good as dead, but I was wondering if anyone has modified this area of the combat rules?

Good as dead is right...
Of course for the GM in play its a great tool. You can engage scenarios not usually available-- like the PCs getting captured say. The hero left for dead among the fallen.
Or the PC is just dead. Fortunately the time required to work up another is short and sweet.

Now that you mention it, I suppose the ref could say that armed specific wounds to the chest or gut can kill or disable, as the inflicter chooses. After all, in the stories it seems like every other guy Conan runs across ends up with his entrails spilt all over the floor.
